Konradjeff interview and upcoming events

Hi all!

This time around I did an interview with Kondratjeff, who is a Finn bedroom producer. You might ask why introduce lesser-known artists but then I'll ask you why not? Without next generation of artists, the scene would die with the current generation. And I feel it important to boost new talent and give them visibility, so they can push things forward and keep the scene fresh and push it forward. So I'll be introducing new talent in the future as well as some big names :)

This time around, as said, I did an interview with Kondratjeff, who is a hardstyle producer making good, quality stuff. Check him out!

-What got you started in hardstyle and producing your own music?

I got interested in producing after I heard hardstyle. It sounded so different and I felt that, from various genres you get some many different vibes that I couldn't resist the thought of producing. I was already interested in producing electronic music before, but didn't know which genre to focus or what could express my thoughts the way I wanted to express them.

-Where do you get ideas for tracks?

The ideas mainly come from different moods and scenarios. With scenario I mean music that suits particular moment and I often imagine some kind of image in my mind while producing

-What can we expect from you in the future?

I won't run out of ideas, but time is limited. Every track is supposed to be better than previous one and I go through the trouble as much as I can. I always try to get new feel in the tracks, because I don't like to listen to music that sounds all the same.

-How is it is for new artist to break into the scene, especially now on digital age, when a lot of tracks keep coming?

Unfortunately I'm not sure of breaking into the scene. I just try to do what I like as well as I can

-Digital revolution has created new marketing channels (Bandcamp, Soundcloud etc.) and this usually makes it easier to find new things, but also some gems are lost in the mass of tracks that are available. What is your take on the subject? Is there too much supply, because it is easy to release material by oneself?

I think it is only good thing that people can share their music. Before long guys making good and quality stuff will get noticed. Networking is the best way these days to get noticed.

-What sort of software you are using?

I use FL12. Looking to get new headphones. For now old Turtlebeach ones will have to do hehe.

-What can we expect from you in the future?

I'm not sure, what I'll be doing, but one thing is sure, I will not quit making music.
