Clublife 3 years Birthday celebration and upcoming psy trance party

Hi all!

Hope you had fun this weekend, I sure did. Finally managed to make it to Brennan Heart gig (3rd time was indeed the charm) and it was worth the long time coming. I did manage to get ticket to previous ones, but always got ill before and had to sell the ticket sadly. But what a night, time to re-live that one verbally:

So our friend Clublife turned into a toddler last night. How time flies when you're having fun and wíth this club and their friends we really have been spoiled, as we were last night once again. Smiling faces all around, atmosphere through the roof and literally the upstairs balcony's floor was jumping. Literally. I could feel it bouncing while sitting thanks to raving people with smile on their faces. Is there a better way to spend your saturday night than with friends and other happy ravers?

Lucky Chucky had the honor of kicking the night of for the Birthday vip crowd and he played one killer set of good quality hardstyle. Sweet! Too bad only vip ticket holders were allowed to enjoy his set though. He is one helluva talented (will be repeating this word) dj, who should get more exposure. See him play somewhere? Check him out!

The clock hit 10 p.m. and time to open the gates for the hungry masses. I was honestly waiting for an invasion at this moment, but none came. it came later, closer to main man. This has been trend lately, which in a way I do understand, but still feels bit shame from artist point of view. Parties are coming like concerts: you go in just in time to see the headliner and then leave. Luckily some people did arrive early on to support local players and show them respect they deserve. Sorry, got bit sidetracked there... Mastraton was two man army of heavy beats in a Qult / Geck-o hard edm vein. Not exactly my cup of tea, but good way to build the night. The lads seem to enjoy themselves on the stage and got crown moving and warming up for the rest of the night. Somehow they have been flying under my radar totally, but they did have solid selection.

Next hour and new player in tha house! And at this moment the gates of hell (aka the 2nd stage) were opened. One didn't have time to snap fingers before the party was in a full swing on 2nd stage. That room went from the first beat completely BOOM and atmosphere erupted with positive energy. And Madshifta really knew how to get that crowd going with his selection of melodic hardstyle and put on energetic performance too. You really could feel him smiling there, there was just this positive energy soaring through the room that makes these parties so special.

In main arena Second Level showed crowd how to rock the party big time! He was also filming his new video. That might've been partial reason for his enthusiastic and ducacell bunny stage show, but who cares. I never got into this edm/big room/electrohouse sound he played, but that is just me. Rest of the crowd disagreed (luckily) with me and they loved it. Ok, I might not have enjoyed musically his set, but he is really talented young lad, who clearly does what he loves and it shows. And most of all, he knew how to both read and work the crowd. Full points for him on this! Second level put on an energetic stage show with jumping around, mcing and made the crowd jump on palm of his hand. And he did warm the crowd in an incredible way for Brennan Heart really hyping up the him by doing a countdown of how many minutes left. Somehow his energetic persona even got me into his set, which is unheard of with edm! And another thing he did, was blow the roof off the Circus. My guess is Second Level will make if far and deserves it!

Time to kill another one. While Second Level blew the roof off the Circus, Brennan Heart blew that bloody roof to the orbit (hopefully no airplanes were harmed in this). Second Level built the crowd's energy in an incredible way and Brennan made that energy explode with Imaginary, his first track, which send goose bumps down my spine and arms. As I said, I've waited for this moment a long long time and seems like I wasn't the only one. The set was just what I was expecting from him: good, solid hardstyle. I was in nirvana of pounding beats and smiling faces all around me. This is the moment when people in upstairs balcony made the floor jump. Literally. I don't remember this happening ever since Massive Attack gig in a tent at Juhlaviikot, so it was amazing to feel it again. That was one of those moments, you know, when you remember why you love clubbing so much: It is magic moments like these thatr you share with your friends and the crowd and feel unison with the strangers around you, who have come together to party their asses off. And the best part was all people smiling and and that positive vibe going through the Circus. I spoke with my friend of this and she said that this is unique for these parties and heavy metal gigs. True. Different genres, but dedicated crowd, that comes together their sanctuary for the love of music and that music alone bonds people together.

Next stop, beauty and the beat: Djane J7. I had an honor of doing a interview previously with Djane, which can be found right here on this blog! Commercial break over and I'll get back on track. Djane really took me by surprise with her set. It was lot rougher than I've come to expect from her and it was exciting to see new side of her and Djane rocked once again! I think this is just logical progression for her and no wonder she got residency on Toxic Sickness radio. Sadly quite a lot of people decided to leave after Brennan, but the ones who stayed were having it large. At this point I really saw how cleverly the running order was created. The night progressed to the last infernal minutes really well building it more and more, taking us on a musical journey through various genres. And this kind of genre blending is, in my humble option, a good thing. it is same thing I try to do with this blog: expose people to something they might not normally listen to or are bit more unfamiliar with and might discover new genre. Djane always has fun on stage and she loves every minute of her set and it can be seen and felt.

Sasha F & Digital Mindz together can only mean one thing: Raw, hard and energetic. And right I was. Both are big players in the raw scene and no wonder. Thank you guys, I just got more into rawstyle than I've been before! Rock-solid selection and another terminator duo who aims to kill yer feet. Excellent set! Catch Sasha F live at Rawzone. Click here for facebook event page. I can just say wow. Their selection had this raw energy pumping from the speakers that rocked the remaining enthusiastic crowd.

The good, the bad and the Sith aka last slayers of the night. What kind of madness can be expected when you put together incredible Mindcore djs (Zerathep, Waily, Skitzofrenik), Proteus and surprise surprise: Brennan Heart? You get World War 3 on stage, that's what you get! For this fiery, friendly battle I am just speechless. No egos, just group of friends having a blast on stage and rocking the crowd. Too bad many people missed this! If your feet weren't screaming for mercy before, now they were. As for this war I just don't know what to say. It really felt that these guys ran out of time waaay too soon!

Happy Birthday Clublife and thanks for the amazing party! And thank you fellow ravers who were here :)
