So it has been trance/hard so far on this blog, so it is time to move the spotlight to a different direction for awhile. I love all good music no matter of genre. I'm not what you'd call a genre-police, so my focus on this blog is all quality electronic music. This time bit EBM news and first ever review!

Synapsi 10v farewell party

This is really end of an era. For 10 years Synapsi has been torch bearer for alternative electronic music and now that time will come to an end. So so sad, but there is time and place for everything. Big shout out to Kalle Kirjalainen for all these years! Line-up and infos:

Out Of Line Weekender @ Berlin 18-20.3.

As you can see from the flyer this weekend will be heaven for anyone who likes bit darker electronic music. Tickets cost 54,90€ which isn't a bad price at all for this line-up! Get your tickets here. Berlin is wonderful city worth visiting and with this weekend, it's an good excuse to go there.

Solitary Experiments In Motion Live in Berlin dvd+cd

Sadly this is limited run of 1000 copies, but if you find it anywhere, BUY IT! I'm not big fan of concert dvds, let me start with that. Usually I just find them lacking something. However, this one was just pure magic. I just couldn't stop watching it and it felt too short! I was in shock to feel that. The stage setup isn't flashy, but it doesn't need to be. In this case, it was just the right choice. Singer has strong, clear voice that I really like and he has a stage present that carries through the whole gig. It was easy to see the guys really like what they do, you really could feel it on this dvd.  As I am a fan, I might not be most neutral to review this dvd+cd package, but I am telling you, it is excellent! There really was something magical of the show and the dvd manages to capture that magic. Recommended!

Mesh

Big news for all Mesh fans out there! The band will release not just 1 but 2 records this year! First is orchestral versions of thei previous material, which seems to be the trend these days. But when it is done well, it works. Also that will follow a new album, that should be released before Christmas and there is rumoured to be a tour coming too. Album was confirmed by Richard Silverthorn on Mesh's fan site on Facebook! There is already one upcoming show in Germany in may, but I'll keep my fingers crossed they'd come to Stockholm or other near-by country.
